IT Services for Training
Centers on Reunion Island

Training organisations, apprenticeship centres and professional development centres — your IT must support shared computer labs, an LMS, video conferencing and compliance requirements. ECLAUD IT can scope the technical infrastructure and support according to a written contract.

In brief

Training organisations need to document their learning systems, shared workstations, network and compliance controls. ECLAUD IT can scope LMS, computer-lab and technical-documentation work, with deliverables confirmed in the proposal.

01 — Sector expertise

Why does your training centre need a specialist IT provider?

The computer labs of a training organisation present a particular IT challenge. Monday morning: office software training for job seekers. Wednesday afternoon: a coding session for apprentices. Friday: a professional retraining course. Workstations constantly change hands — they must reset automatically, start clean and have the right software available. That is fundamentally different from managing a fixed workstation fleet in a business.

Qualiopi adds another layer. The certification requires precise digital traceability: attendance records, assessments, quality indicators, learner tracking. If your LMS is slow, if the attendance system crashes during a session, if the exports for the auditor are unusable — your certification is at stake. A generalist technician does not know what a Qualiopi indicator is. We do.

"Preparing for a Qualiopi audit takes 2–3 weeks of work, then 1 week of maintenance between each surveillance audit. Digital traceability is at the heart of the requirements."— Journal du Net, Analysis of Qualiopi costs 2024
02 — Compliance

What Qualiopi, GDPR and accessibility obligations apply to training organisations?

Qualiopi — Mandatory certification

Essential for accessing relevant public or pooled funding. The applicable criteria, indicators and audit cycle must be checked against the current official framework.

Decree No. 2019-564 of 6 June 2019

GDPR — Learner data

Training organisations collect personal data on learners: identity, professional background, assessments and results. Same obligations as any organisation: register of processing activities, consent, rights of access/rectification/erasure. Data must be retained according to statutory time limits.

GDPR + Labour Code L6313-1

Accessibility & inclusion (Qualiopi 2025)

Inclusion requirements are tightening: physical and digital accessibility adjustments, partnerships with specialist disability organisations, training of teaching teams. Digital accessibility of training materials is becoming an audit criterion.

Which LMS and management tools suit a training centre?

An LMS can be central to a training organisation. Hosting, installation, maintenance, performance work and integrations must be assessed against the selected platform and confirmed in the proposal.

How to equip training rooms with the right IT?

Microsoft Teams / Zoom

Video conferencing for blended learning. Licence, virtual-room and audio/video configuration can be scoped in the proposal.

Shared workstations (Windows MultiPoint)

Computer labs may require temporary profiles, reset policies, software restrictions and managed endpoint protection. The required controls must be inventoried.

Synology NAS / SharePoint

Centralised storage for learning materials, course libraries and resources shared between trainers. Automatic backup, access rights by training module. Secure remote access for remote-working trainers.

Pedagogical network (VLAN + Wi-Fi)

Learner-dedicated network isolated from the administrative network. Secure Wi-Fi with captive portal, QoS for video conferencing, web filtering. Sized to support 30+ simultaneous workstations per room.

06 — Reunion Island

Vocational training on Reunion Island — a key sector

Reunion Island has a dense network of vocational training organisations, apprenticeship centres and continuing education providers. The island's high unemployment rate (above 17%) makes vocational training a major economic lever — CPF, OPCO and Reunion Region funding schemes are heavily used.

Qualiopi certification is essential to access this funding. Yet only 33.7% of declared training organisations in France are certified (source: Certifopac 2024). Digital traceability is one of the most frequent stumbling blocks during audits.

ECLAUD IT is based in Saint-Paul. LMS deployment, computer-lab setup and technical documentation can be included after the sites and deliverables are scoped. Funding eligibility and eligible IT costs must be checked against the official notice for each programme.

FAQ — IT Services for Training Centers

Why choose a training-specialist IT provider instead of a generalist?

A training centre has specific IT needs: computer labs with shared workstations, an LMS (Moodle, Digiforma), video conferencing for remote delivery, an isolated pedagogical network and Qualiopi compliance. A specialist provider knows how to configure multi-user sessions, size the network for 30 simultaneous workstations and document the digital traceability required by Qualiopi.

How do we manage workstations shared between different learner groups?

A proposed configuration can use multi-user Windows sessions, temporary profiles, pre-installed software, restrictions and centrally managed endpoint protection. The target performance and acceptance criteria are documented in the proposal.

Qualiopi requires digital traceability — how do we ensure it?

Document the applicable requirements with the certification body, then map the tools, records and technical responsibilities. Any configuration or documentation deliverable must be confirmed in the proposal.

Our Moodle LMS is slow — what can we do?

A slow Moodle can result from server sizing, database queries, caching, extensions or network conditions. The diagnosis and any migration or optimisation work are scoped first, with performance targets agreed before implementation.

How much does managed IT cost for a training centre?

The cost depends on rooms, workstations, LMS hosting, network, security, support hours and on-site needs. Included services and service levels are confirmed in a written quote.

Can ECLAUD IT host our Moodle?

Yes. We offer managed Moodle hosting on servers based in France: installation, updates, daily backup, monitoring, SSL certificate and performance optimisation. You focus on pedagogy; we manage the technical infrastructure.

Does ECLAUD IT cover training centres on Reunion Island?

ECLAUD IT is based in Saint-Paul. The service area, on-site response targets and remote-support allowance are defined in the contract after the sites and constraints have been reviewed.
