What is Kap Numerik?
Kap Numerik is a regional programme co-funded by the European Union under the ERDF 2021-2027 framework. The conditions and amounts below describe the previous version published by the Regional Council; they are not an open 2026 offer.
You may have known this programme under the name cheque numerique (digital voucher) — it’s the same scheme, rebranded as Kap Numerik. It is managed directly by the Reunion Island Regional Council. For administrative queries, the official contact is: [email protected].

- Grant rate: 80% of expenses (excl. VAT)
- Overall cap: 3,200 EUR (based on 4,000 EUR excl. VAT in eligible expenses)
- Brochure website: up to 1,200 EUR reimbursed
- E-commerce website: up to 2,000 EUR
- Mobile application or Chat Bot: up to 2,000 EUR
- Community management: up to 1,000 EUR
- Digital strategy consultancy: up to 500 EUR
- One application per year maximum
Who is eligible for Kap Numerik?
Under the previous version, size, sector, turnover and location were among the criteria. None of these facts now establishes eligibility for the future version.
Previous-version criteria
The previous version considered location, headcount, administrative status, sector and applicant type. It also contained exclusions and rules on when expenses could be incurred. These items are retained only to explain the old scheme: they do not establish eligibility for a business, nonprofit or self-employed professional under a future version.
Before any order, deposit or work starts, consult the new official notice when published and obtain confirmation from the managing authority.
What expenses did the previous Kap Numerik version cover?
The previous version covered several digital services. Those categories and amounts are not actionable during the suspension and do not predict the future notice.
The Regional Council sets the reimbursement caps and eligible services. Any proposed IT item must be checked against the official rules in force before it is described as eligible.

Cybersecurity and digital tools
In the previous version, the following categories were among the items to review. Future eligibility must be confirmed by the Regional Council:
- Securing accounts and sensitive data
- Professional backup tools
- Subscriptions to business tools directly related to the digital project
- Digital training linked to the project
The previous version included a global cap and renewal rules. Do not extrapolate them to the next version.
How to submit your Kap Numerik application?
Because new applications are suspended, do not incur expenditure based on the steps below. When applications reopen, follow only the procedure published by the Reunion Island Regional Council.
The 6 steps of the application

Check your eligibility — size, location, and sector criteria. If in doubt, contact
[email protected]before starting. -
Choose your digital service provider — they must be able to provide a detailed quote per service, with amounts clearly stated excl. VAT. The provider doesn’t need to be accredited by the Regional Council, but the quote must be flawless.

Obtain a signed quote — a detailed document presenting each service individually with its excl. VAT amount. This is the centrepiece of the application.

Prepare the application — gather supporting documents according to your legal status (see table below).

Submit online — via the Reunion Island Regional Council portal. Check that your application is complete before sending: an incomplete file slows down processing.

Wait for the grant notification — work must not begin until you receive this official approval. Starting before = losing eligibility for the expenses concerned.

Keep all paid invoices and proof of payment. They will be required when you submit your reimbursement request, after the services have been delivered.
What role does the digital service provider play in your application?
The digital service provider you choose makes a significant difference to the success of your application. They don’t submit the application on your behalf — it’s your file, your process. But the quality of their quote directly determines acceptance.
Here’s what’s expected from the provider:
- Provide a signed, detailed quote before any application submission
- Break down each service line by line, with excl. VAT amounts
- Respect the timeline: no work started before the grant notification
Eligibility and quote compliance must be checked against the official rules in force before submission. ECLAUD IT does not promise eligibility, funding or a tax benefit.
The provider doesn’t need official accreditation from the Regional Council for your application to be accepted. What matters is the quote’s compliance and the nature of the service.

Kap Numerik and ECLAUD IT: what can you fund through an IT provider?
The previous version was not limited to websites and community management. The categories below describe that former framework and are not a list of currently eligible expenses.
The following project categories may be worth checking against the official Kap Numerik rules; this list is not an eligibility decision:
Digital strategy consultancy — previous version This category appeared in the former notice. Its presence, cap and conditions must be checked in the future version.
IT system security — previous version Cybersecurity, backup and access management appeared in former categories. ANSSI recommends treating backup as critical, but no current grant coverage is asserted.

Process digitalisation support — previous version Document dematerialisation, workflow automation and management tools appeared among former themes. Their future inclusion and funding remain to be confirmed.
An IT system audit can inventory technical needs without promising that the scheme will reopen, that an expense will qualify or that any grant amount will be obtained.

Yes. The programme is part of the ERDF 2021-2027 framework. Applications remain open until the budget envelope is exhausted or the programming period ends in 2027. The 2026 version maintains the caps and conditions from the previous version. Check that submissions are open on the Regional portal before preparing your application.
Can I get Kap Numerik if I’ve already received this grant before?
The previous version allowed another application for actions different from the prior year. Check the rule in the updated version after publication.
My business is less than one year old. Am I eligible?
The previous version specified particular documents for businesses under two years old. The updated version must confirm eligibility and required evidence.
What happens if my project exceeds 4,000 EUR (excl. VAT)?
Do not incur expenditure on the assumption that the previous caps will continue. Wait for the updated version and the official decision applicable to your file.
How long does it take to receive the reimbursement?
No universal reimbursement time is asserted here. For a previously submitted file, check its status on the official portal or contact the Regional Council.
